There are a bunch of different tools, and I'm not sure where to connect my accounts and which one to use for what. When/why should I use each one?

You should use my.secfi.com for account setup and equity data, Right Capital for financial planning, and Altruist for the custody and management of the assets we are handling.

We get it can be confusing. Here's a breakdown of these tools and their purposes:

  • my.secfi.com: This is the platform where you can complete the onboarding and account setup process. You can enter or add your equity data and submit requests to your advisor here. By connecting your accounts on my.secfi.com, you can have a comprehensive view of your assets in one place, including your equity holdings.
  • Right Capital: Right Capital is the tool our financial advisors use for financial planning purposes. When you connect your accounts here, your financial data is used to create or update financial plans and scenarios, helping you make informed decisions about your financial future.
  • Altruist: Altruist is our custodial provider, where an account or accounts will be set up for you to hold the assets we are managing. Any accounts connected to Altruist are used for transferring funds into or receiving funds from our management.

You should use my.secfi.com for account setup and equity data, Right Capital for financial planning, and Altruist for the custody and management of the assets we are handling. Each tool serves a specific purpose, and your advisor will guide you on when and how to use them effectively to meet your financial goals.
