We use your personal information to provide our services, to help you evaluate our services, offer you new products or services, and enhance our services. We may also use your personal information in a number of ways, including research, internal analysis, and analytics. We never sell, rent, or trade your information to any non-affiliated third parties, except as required by law. Your information is shared only with parties involved with your financing or loan process, with your permission. Our security team works tirelessly to protect the privacy of all of our website’s users. Any data uploaded to Secfi is stored in an encrypted database while at rest. Any time your data is “in transit,” it is encrypted over HTTPS, the industry standard for secure internet transactions. This means we take steps to secure the data you send to and from Secfi, even if your network is not secure, such as when you’re on a public Wi-Fi network. We utilize an independent third party to execute penetration tests at least annually, to identify and proactively fix any security vulnerabilities. We also have a continuous bug bounty program, which enables researchers to contact us in case they find any website vulnerabilities so that we can proactively resolve those.
